Because it is going to be gone tomorrow. I am spending it all on completing the exhaust system. . . and maybe a new air filter. I am spending so much. :'( Basically all I will have left is rent money for the school year and enough for food and stuff. . . maybe. I will have a job over in December, so more moneies shall be coming in so I can spend it on more parts. Is that what being on crack is like?

Where there's a will there's a way. Get on craigslist and make some adds for cheap help moving/packing, IKEA furniture building, anything short of shoveling shit (gotta draw the line somewhere). Sure you have a couple skills that are marketable. You'd be surprised people are to busy or dumb to do some pretty easy basic stuff in life. Won't make ya rich but could line your pockets a little bit here and there.

Not to mention power. A few test have been done, and these are some of the best headers you can buy for the car. I am super excited! I just hate having to explain to my friends what I spent my money on. . . then again, I never buy anything else.

I really like the eibachs, they seem to be a direct competitor to the KWV3s but with remote reserviors. They are usually around $2400, but I plan to pick them up for much cheaper!

As for wheels got a set of Enkei RPF1s 17X7.5 (+48mm offset to keep with stock bearing loading), with stock Michelin primacy tires (which I intend to sell), and Toyota TPMS sensors (which I intend to sell) for just under $900. So minus 5.2lb unsprung weight per corner :)

Interesting. Although this does seem like a good idea, I cannot trust people on craigslist and other similar sites. Must be a thing my parents thought me or something. I haven't been able to "find" a job yet only because I have applied to two places and have been too lazy to try for more. GOD DAMN IT! I am going to apply to 40 locations next week!

Coilovers scare me. They are so expensive. I want something that does everything and costs less than 1500. I want them to be awesome at a good price. . . I was looking at fortune autos, ft86speedfactory recommends them, but I haven't heard much from other people.

RPF1s are pretty much the best bang for your buck wheel. They may not look the best, but they are strong, light, AND fairly cheap. That never happens.

Yeah I feel the same way about coilovers, and knowing how OCD I am, I'll be constantly adjusting the settings.

And Yeah, the Enkeis are pretty much the lightest wheels you can get for real people (as in not tuning shop/sponsorship) money. Funny enough when I was first researching wheels I was comparing the RPF1 to the TE37, on the site the RPF1 was listed at around $950 and the TE37 was about $800. Everything seemed great with the TE37 until I realized that the price was for ONE wheel while the RPF1 price was for a set of 4.

I am going with the same company that made my frontpipe, so Motiv Concepts. It was so well built and a little bit cheaper than than the perrin pipe(plus the welds were better). Not to mention they shipped the pipe in a matter of days. I got it in about a week! 10/10 would recommend to everyone.

The funny thing about Rays are that their budget wheels are still expensive. The wheels I want are 430 dollars a piece. Yeah that is cheap compared to Volks, but in total they will be 1800 dollars. I think they get people by making some sexy ass wheels.

Plus Perrin is getting out of that game. Chris came out and raced go-karts with a few of us GT86 owners out here and we got onto the subject of if/when they would release headers. Apparently they plan to stop selling anything that replaces factory cats due to potential future legal issues (carb standards ect...)

It looks like you will be beating me to a full exhaust, but we must both post videos to compare once complete. I'd be interested in seeing how a high end UEL system stacks up against a high end EL system. Most of the well recorded (from a sound quality perspective) videos of UELs right now are Borla.

Well their catback is really good stuff, so there is always that. I wish they would make headers, but I have a feeling they wouldn't be making UEL ones. I heard they were planning a EL one, but that never came through.

I was honestly going to get wheels first, but JDL is doing their sale now, so I might as well get them at a not so bad price. So wheels will have to wait. Can't wait to hear what it sounds like!

Their catback is great quality (if a little heavy for my build), and I'd have liked for them to make headers as well. It'd be wonderful to have truly local support.

Basically if nameless does not release by the end of the year, I'll be choosing between the JDL UEL (their EL is sub par IMHO), and the catless HKS EL Header (which is a little overpriced and very hard to find in the US)

Some people have done dynos with just the JDL headers and the results are surprising. They got 188hp with just the headers and a tune in 4th gear, pretty amazing if you ask me.

If I were you, I would wait for nameless. The HKS are too expensive and look a lot like the stock headers, Borla has quality issues, and then there is the rest. FA20Club is a good choice but I don't like where the piping goes, but you do get a cat(that may be a plus or a minus), P&L is another brand, but I don't know about their product. TLDR; Wait for the nameless!

No header cat for me, I'd like to keep that little horsepower/scavenging effect robbing fucker as far back in the system as possible.

The nameless will likely be much like the FA20club (which is really more of a turbo manifold than an NA header) routing as that is probably the only way to make a long tube header with this engine.

yes, but they obd2 scan the computer, so no sniffer for me (ad even if they did, I'm pretty sure it would pass with a cat in the front pipe)

Install hasn't happened yet. Headers should be here in a month or so. Overpipe will be here in a week or two. So it is just a waiting game. Worst game I ever played.

Both companies say the are US built soooo, that means it will have been looked through to make sure there are no anthrax in the boxes. Other than that, they should be good. Unless Fedex is being stupid, which has happened before.
